Hi Reader, When most people plan a Napa trip, they make the same mistake. They research wineries. Then restaurants. Then hotels. Then things to do. All separately. I've done this before. I had more than 30 tabs open, links bookmarked, trying to figure out what was actually close to what. The hardest part is not finding good places in Napa. It's figuring out how everything fits together. Here are a few common Napa planning mistakes I see:
Napa isn't huge, but it's spread out. And that's where most trips lose time. That's exactly why I created the Napa Valley Insider Map. It includes 185 thoughtfully selected wineries, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, photo spots, and experiences organized across Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga. Instead of guessing, you can zoom out and see everything at once. Or zoom in and plan by town. For example, here's what it looks like when you group stops in St. Helena together: All stops are organized into simple layers that you can toggle on and off, including wineries, restaurants, hotels, and experiences. You can visually group your morning tasting, lunch stop, and afternoon winery without bouncing back and forth across the valley. That's the difference. Instead of planning from memory or multiple tabs, you're planning geographically. If you're heading to Napa this spring or later this year, this will save you hours of research.
And if you're just getting started, my free Napa Valley map with 57 pins is a great place to begin. If you're planning something special, hit reply and tell me when you're going! Until next time, If you found any of this info helpful, I’d love it if you could use these links for your next trip. These are all the sites I personally use to book my trips, and if you use them, some of them will earn me a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps reduce the ever-increasing costs of keeping my site up. Thanks! Planning to visit Napa Valley?
